It's not an injection
The tattooing process is sometimes incorrectly refered to as an injection. This video clearly shows the opposite. In this high speed video shot by our R&D lab ink can be seen being pulled into the skin the moment the needle taper exits, allowing ink to flow into the void left by the needle. This clearly shows that tattoo ink is not deposited like an injection, but rather by a suction of ink into the cavity left by the needle puncture.
